Hello, hello and welcome to another episode of Return to Radiance.

Today I wanted to talk a little bit about my own journey, because I feel like, if you're in my social media world, you have seen me post time and time again about how visionary leaders, how soul-led entrepreneurs, don't need somebody to tell them what to do or even how to do it. That we need space for our own evolution. We need space held for our own process, our own answers and coming home to our own truth and really cultivating deeper and deeper layers of that trust in ourselves and in our way. And that's really where we start to shine as leaders is when that space is held for us to open up to these deeper levels of truth within ourselves. And I wanted to share a little bit about my experience and how I came to that conclusion because, honestly, it triggers people when I say stuff like that. You know I have had the more rigid, like business coach, strategy-based business coaches kind of come after me a couple of times saying you know you're wrong, like you need the strategy. And I want to start off by saying I absolutely think that there is a level of strategy and structure that is supportive and that will fuel your business expansion.

Speaker 1:

And this is something that I offer to my clients. I dive into their business with them, i know what's going on, i see their offers, i see their launch plans. They come to me with their ideas, with sales, with pre-sales, with whatever they've got going on, and we look at it and we actually tune in energetically, which I love, and if something doesn't feel congruent I may make suggestions or I may hope them self-discover what would feel better Or how could we enhance this or how can we get your energy more on board with whatever process you're going to take to sell XYZ or to expand in this area, right? So this isn't something that I neglect by any means in the type of mentorship that I offer. It's just the way that I do. It is so different because it's rooted in the energy. It's rooted in my ability to pick up if something, if you're doing something for the sake of doing it, or if you're doing it because it actually feels like a hell yes in your energy And on an energetic standpoint, that's going to be the difference between magnetism and falling flat like point blank period. So now that that little caveat is out of the way, that little disclaimer there I do want to share because I've been in business since 2020.

Speaker 1:

And it's not been a linear journey. There has been a lot of learning, there has been a lot of growing pains, there's been a lot of setbacks, and some of these setbacks could have so easily been avoided in hindsight. Of course, this is part of my process. I don't regret it, but some of these setbacks could have been so avoided If I had just listened to my own inner knowing if I had just trusted myself that little bit more instead of falling victim to the marketing of I'm going to show you how to build a multiple six figure business. So I had my spiritual awakening in the fall of 2020.

Speaker 1:

If you've listened to episode one, you already know most of my story. I'm not going to go into like super depth there, but when that did happen, i had this realization. I connected with my soul for the first time. I had this realization that, like, i had the wisdom, i had the radiance, i had the charisma, i had the magnetism, i possessed everything that I needed to be successful. And then it became a quest of how do I get that out? How do I share that with the world? How do I get people to like see that part of me and like, understand that part of me? that's like, so like internal right now.

Speaker 1:

And the last three years of my life has consisted of anchoring that essence in more and more over time, and there have been various different initiations and, like I said, setbacks and all kinds of different things that have led me to anchoring in more and more of my essence over time, over and over and over again. There were some key moments. There were, you know, obviously, the moments of setback. There were the moments of great growth and expansion where I'm like fuck, yes, this is it. And, as you know, these processes often aren't linear And I'm the type of person who has to learn things the hard way often. So I went through a lot of my own stuff to get to this place, and one of the things that I did was I found that there was this pattern And this was probably this was 2021, when I was going through this And I kept investing in programs that would teach me how to build a six figure foundation, to build a scalable product suite to market, a certain type of way, like I kept gravitating towards these programs that were telling me what to do and how to do it.

Speaker 1:

And it's so funny because at that point, i was connected with myself. I did know that I had big things to do in this world and a big message to share and a big impact to make. Like I knew that And I knew my power and I knew who I was becoming, but yet there was still a part of me that was like it's not working or people aren't getting it yet, they're not buying yet. I defaulted to my old programming of this must mean something about me. This must be something that I'm doing wrong, because I know that I'm great, i know that I'm radiant. I know these things about me because I've connected with my soul. It must be something on the logistical doing side of things that isn't working. So the first I can't even tell you how many courses I'm trying to tally it in my head, like off the top of my head, and it's too many is what I'll tell you.

Speaker 1:

But the first two years of my business I kept investing in those entry-level programs where it's like maybe it's a different mentor, like, oh, that one didn't work, so maybe I'll try this one over here. Oh, that didn't work, so maybe I'll try this one. I kept stepping into programs that were marketed towards building the Six Figure Foundation, expanding into Six Figures and all of those technical pieces that go into a business structure. Now the ironic part about this is I actually have pushing 10 years of experience in the business world at this point, so I know a lot about business. My brain functions as business. It's very logical that it just naturally pulls pieces together and creates things, and I know that now that I've done work with clients and supported them in that way, or more work on their businesses.

Speaker 1:

I should say I stayed in the energy realms for a long time That's a topic for another day, but I know that about myself. But I was completely neglecting. It was like I just completely dismissed. I was like, well, i'm a new coach, so I have to learn how to do it the coaching industry way. And so I was not only investing in these beginner programs and not learning anything new each time. Even though it was packaged differently and with a different mentor and looked slightly different And the messaging was slightly different, none of that fucking mattered. It was the same fundamental knowledge every single time. Every single program was the same fucking thing. So I had built my quote unquote foundation several times over, using essentially the same core pieces that everybody's talking about, and I kept doing it. That's like the insane thing is I kept doing it and expecting to end up in a different place or get a different result at the end of it, and looking back now that makes no fucking sense Like that's the definition of insanity. But I was so desperate to find those answers that I kept investing. I was just looking for that way to let the soul that I knew that I had shine out into the world and have people get it. I was desperate for that and I was longing for that. I kept investing in these programs. That kept me stuck for a really long time.

Speaker 1:

It wasn't until I joined a higher level mastermind with a coach who actually was not big or well known at the time That really started to revolutionize because it was connection-based, it was real-time-based, it was transformation-based, where it wasn't somebody teaching you something, it was experiential. That was huge for me in my visibility, in my confidence in my expression, in my ability to heal my sister wounds and really connect with people, in my ability to hold sacred space for my clients. I learned a lot through that process. Because it was modeled so beautifully, i ended up actually taking her certification the next year. Side note That's really where things started to shift and I thought that I was ready for that next level. Finally, i was like I'm done with the entry-level bullshit. I'm done, i'm not doing it anymore. I stepped into a mastermind.

Speaker 1:

This mastermind was marketed towards women who were anchoring in 20 to 30 K months. I stepped into that and I received more strategy. I was overwhelmed as fuck. I didn't know at the time that I was overwhelmed because I was trying to be the good student. Again, some of this conditioning that comes back online, that sneaks in unconsciously. I was trying to be the good student. I was trying to apply things. I was trying to stay open. Even if something that was said was like I don't know how I feel about that, i would try to stay open. I would try to modify it and make it work. I would try to go for it in my own way, or at one point I was just trying to go for it period, because clearly my way wasn't working.

Speaker 1:

This was a year of giving away my power. I'm not placing blame. I just want to clarify. I'm not placing blame on the coach there. Everybody facilitates differently, everybody coaches differently and everyone's in different places in terms of how they do what they do.

Speaker 1:

But it was not a good fit for me. It was not a supportive environment for me, when really what I needed was not to get on a call and be told what to do and be told that what I was doing wasn't enough. I had to go bigger and I had to go bolder and I had to go all out. Ultimately, that ended up creating dysregulation for me as well as feeling like, if I said no to that, i wasn't doing enough, i wasn't trying hard enough, i wasn't being enough. So that was like a really fucked up mindset to be in. But those were the feelings that started to come up when I still wasn't getting the results that I wanted. And so I was trying and trying and I felt so embodied in my work, i felt so embodied in my message. I knew how deep the transformation was, that I provided for people And yet I couldn't anchor in those higher cash months that I wanted.

Speaker 1:

And that was a year of my life, thinking that I just wasn't enough, that all the money that I invested, that everything that I did all the time, all the effort that I put in, everything I did, it just wasn't enough to get to the promised land. I mean, i laugh saying that, but that's kind of what it is Like when you're investing with somebody who's promising you 20, 30k months that's the promised land And I kept falling short and my income actually dropped substantially during that time And it really messed with me And this is like edgy to share, because I haven't really publicly talked about this too much But what it really anchored in for me. After that mastermind closed out, after I started working privately with someone who was more transformation based like myself and somebody who is more of that spaceholder and that facilitator of evolution as opposed to the business coach, i started to drop back into my truth. I started to feel more like myself. I started to anchor even more deeply into my message, into my purpose, into all the things that I knew to be true. And the more that I did that, the more I doubled down, tripled down, quadrupled down on that, the more I became the embodiment of who I knew myself to be on the inside. The more I started to show up as her, the more I started to see results and momentum in my own life, in my own business, like everything started to fall back into place.

Speaker 1:

But the thing to note is that mentor was not talking about money wins. She was not selling me money. She was selling me new layers of my own leadership, of my own evolution. She was selling me more self-trust. She was selling me the idea that I do get to get compensated for my gifts, of course, and let's work on the energetics beneath that And I mean we just got off a call before I started recording this And we did map out some launch pieces and some pricing and looking at hint, hint, the liberated legacy mastermind is coming back.

Speaker 1:

We did start to look at pre-sale and all of those different pieces We did drop into the business, but it was not from a place of you need to do this and this is how your launch is going to succeed. It was from a place of huh, okay, what are you thinking for pricing? Oh, i love that. That feels really good Tuning into different pieces, co-creating, working back and forth the exact things that I give my clients. I had that space held for me today And it felt so good and it felt so supportive and I feel so confident going into this launch.

Speaker 1:

I feel so myself, i feel so authentic, i feel so rooted in, like you would be an idiot not to step into this. No shade here, like truly, but that's the depth of the belief in what I've created And it's also the depth of the belief of how I'm going to show up through this launch. I don't need to be performative, i don't need to put myself on this imaginary pedestal. I don't need 150 or, you know, a thousand people coming through my freebie in order to fill this mastermind out. Because the reality is, my work is deep, is not meant to reach everybody, it's meant to reach the right people And it's not meant to be flashy and creating that sense of urgency and that sense of FOMO and like all of these pieces, like that's not me, that's not an integrity with me, that's not in alignment with me. And so, since the closing of that mastermind last summer, i've been able to drop back into who I am, into how I operate, into what's authentic for me as a leader, how I want to sell, how I want to market.

Speaker 1:

Of course, you know at this point that radiant marketing was a huge success because it's different than everything else out there. I refuse to just give people a strategy and tell them do this, because it's so much deeper than the doing. If everybody who applied the quote unquote proven strategy had results like it, just it would be a different world. The reality is there are a lot of people out there still struggling. There are a lot of people out there, whether you're struggling to get to the six figure mark, whether you're struggling to scale to the multi six figure or seven figure mark. There are quote unquote proven strategies And there's also a reason why it's not working for you.

Speaker 1:

And it's because you are a leader. It's because you are meant to forge your own path and find your own way and lead in a way that supports your energy, where you're at, what you're calibrating to what you really want, the lifestyle that you desire, the way you desire to show up. And if those pieces are inauthentic or off because somebody else said to do it this way, it's going to stunt your growth Period. It just is. And so we're being called in the new paradigm of business, in where we're going as a collective, we're being called to find our way. We're being called to move forward in integrity, in authenticity and really getting visible in our truth, not somebody else's, not someone else's framework, not someone else's strategy. We are being called to step forward in a way that works for us, and we don't need to sell that to other people either. We get to support them in finding their way. And does that make life as a coach a little bit harder? because you have to think beyond just the mental, technical strategies? Absolutely. But that's where we're being called, that's where we're going And that's the key to the sustainable evolution, that's the key to the sustainable business growth.

Speaker 1:

That's the key to a business with staying power is having the tenacity to navigate the ups and downs, the setbacks, and not always looking for the shortcut or the easy way out. Like can we, working together, simplify your business, make it easier for you, make it more aligned for you? Absolutely, but I'm not gonna ask you to follow in my steps, to take the shortcuts. When my way is not your way, we're gonna find your way together, and that is the sustainability piece, that is the empowerment piece And that's the leadership piece. We need to be willing to walk through this in our own way, and that's my opinion on it Point blank, period. And from there, obviously, working on the energetics, working on the manifestation process, working on becoming the version of ourselves that already exists by the way, that's already there. Activating that timeline, choosing that timeline, holding that over and over and over again until it becomes your reality. We do that too. So that's just my experience.
